THE CURT GOOCH COLLECTION
Lot 1: 1996 Paul Stanley Stage Worn Costume Piece. For the first few shows on the Alive/Worldwide Tour, Paul would emerge for the encores in a full-length robe, rip off the bottom half (which was attached by Velcro) and throw it into the audience. The “robe throw” was short-lived; Paul stopped after witnessing fans fighting over it at the St. Paul, Minneapolis show on July 13. The color in the pictures makes the robe look slightly purple but it’s actually black. This robe is from the Kansas City, Missouri show on July 3, 1996.

She died on the day of KISS’s next concert (the second Hotel Diplomat concert.)
